    Hi,

I noticed that when I updated my theme I lost all the additional CSS to the theme. which is really annoying!

And I read about creating Child Themes to avoid this issue. Can you advise? Is there I way I can find again all the additional CSS I had before I updated, or is it lost and I have to re-build? And is there a link you can show me where I can make a child theme so that this doesn’t happen again? Thanks

@maxsalad : If you have added additional css from Appearance => Customize => Additional css. The css is supposed to be saved ever after theme update. If you have edited the style.css file of the theme and added the css that will be lost during theme update. If you would like to create a child theme and customize the site as desired Please download and Install Generate Child theme plugin and you can create a child theme of your choice. Let me know if you have any more queries.

    Regards,
    Tikaram
