Hi there, we are the host for a client.

They have a really small file, demo-file, not even 1 MB.

It has all-content.dat, customizer.xml and widgets.wie

When we go to Manual demo files upload, and choose the XML file, the spinner just stays there. We upped the max_execution time and script timeout from 30 seconds to 300 seconds but it just keeps on spinning.

What does this do? Is it supposed to take a while? We can increase the timeout even more but we’re just curious if it’s not rather a technical issue rather than something else….

I have emailed you the demo content files. Please check your inbox as well as the spam folder.
Can you please try importing the demo content again using the files I emailed you?

Yes, it is supposed to take a while but will show an error eventually if the demo cannot be imported. If the demo is imported it will show a log file.

Let me know if you are still having issues importing the demo files.
