Hello everybody !

I’ve just started using your theme, and it’s beautiful, thank you !

I’m new to it so I might have missed something, but I’ve looked everywhere including the FAQ and this forum before asking.

My problem is that I suddenly had a “News” section appear on the homepage (while working on Featured Contents, if I’m not mistaken) that is the page that I’m using as Hero Content, but as a post. I can’t remove it even by trashing the page and the Hero Content. Some Widgets also appeared on the right, but I removed them.

@singe: You must have select Homepage setting as Recent posts. Go to => Appearance => Customize => Homepage Settings => Your homepage displays as A static page.

Hi Skandha,

Thank you for your time and quick answer.

It worked out fine, and I now understand the mechanism of it.

I am now using an empty page (no title and no text) as my static homepage, because I want nothing else than Hero Content, Testimonials and Featured Contents, but it leaves a gap at the end. Is it possible to get rid of this gap in anyway and have only Hero Content, Testimonials and Featured Contents on my home (and only) page ?

@singe: To remove the empty space
Go to => Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS and add the following CSS Code.

.home #content {
    display:none;
}
