    Hi, I try to connect my instagram account in the Social Gallery and Widgets page, and I receive this message:

    {"error_type": "OAuthException", "code": 400, "error_message": "Insufficient developer role"}
    
    Any idea about how to solve that?

    Hello:

    I am the admin & developer for StaceyMoeEvents.com.

    The theme is Catch Inspire Pro.

    I keep getting an error message when attempting to connect Instagram to the site. It has been connected previously, but often is “disconnected” — I’m assuming for security reasons/to update the authorization key.

    This is the error message I am receiving.

    Hi @staceymoeevents,

    This is not a theme issue. It’s the “Social Gallery and Widget” plugin issue with Instagram changes. So, we are not sure if it will be fixed or not. Please looks for other Instagram plugin.

    I am having the exact same problem as the first poster, Eric Roux, on this support forum. The error message is exactly the same. Tikaram, the Keymaster, replied and said it was fixed for Eric Roux.  I would like you to look into my issue. When using the Social Gallery and Widgets page, I am unable to connect Instagram. I have never had a problem connecting Instagram.  I’ve used the Social Gallery and Widgets page since 2018 and this is the first time in about 5 years that I’ve received an error message.

    We are using the Pro version of the Inspire theme. I expect a better reply than "we're not sure if it will be fixed or not."
    With all due respect, that is not an acceptable answer.

    Sorry, that issue was fixed on November 2022 and then again Instagram change it back last week. So, we are appealing to the Instagram team to unblock the app and waiting for their answer.
