This is frustrating. When I change the theme to its dark version, the body text stays black on the dark gray background. Nearly illegible. I’ve changed this many times, and it changes, but when I return to the site it is back to the black on gray. I upgraded to the pro version specifically to get some control over the color, but it doesn’t seem to work.

Have you gone to the Cutomizer?

Appearance>Customize>Colors>Site Color Options>Text Color

Yes. That’s what I’ve been doing. It changes and looks write, but when I return to the site later it has reverted to black text on dark gray background. And is black on dark gray really the default?

Perhaps you have some cached assets. Have you tried on another browser or deleted your cookies?

@bigoslesli: It is working fine at my end, Can you please clear your browser cache or you can try using other browser. Let me know if this does the trick.

I emptied my cache and removed cookies. I even tried a different computer. It does work correctly on my smart phone though. Apparently I need to manually choose font color paragraph by paragraph as I create a post. Awful–and old posts don’t update at all.

My current problem is the image captions are illegibly tiny and in a font that’s nearly as dark as the background. I can’t find anywhere that allows any customization of caption fonts.

I tried both of these:

.wp-figcaption-text {
font-size: 12px;
}

AND

.wp-caption-text {
font-size: 12px;
}

It looks okay in Edge but not Chrome. Firefox says it can’t find the server.

I’m going to assume it’s working, since it looks right in Edge and on my Android, but I’ve never had such an unresponsive template.

@mumphrey: Theme is fully responsive , Can you please post in your site URl so that I can look into that issue and provide you with necessary solution.
