Hello,

I have configured my photography website using the fotografie theme.

As my speciality is architecture I am trying to mask the picture of the beautiful woman who systematically appears on my main page.

If you want I could send you a screenshot of the photo.

Hello Philipp,

You don’t need to remove the theme images. You can replace the default header image with your image. Go to “Appearance => Customize => Header Media” from your website dashboard. Then in Header Image, click “Add New Image” to upload your image which will replace the default header image.

I have followed your advice, but it is still the same.

My picture is shown as the header media, but when I access the site, the original photo appears.

I wonder if something has gone wrong with my installation.

Hi Philipp,

I see the issue when you are in “Appearance => Customize => Header Media”, you uploaded the image, then you click on “Save Draft” not “Published”. So, you need to change the action to the “Publish” button. See this screenshot https://cldup.com/Um10VQKdtg.jpg on how to change the Customizer action button setting.
