I updated to 2.1.3. I am now getting an error “There has been a critical error on your website.” on some pages.

I did not have this issue before the update.

I noticed that those same pages in Google Search Console show the Breadcrumb with a <span> in the name. I don’t know if this is related to the error. {“name”:”<span class=\”archive-text\”> Archive for &nbsp<\/span>Competition Results and Photos”}

There seems to be an issue with the child categories post and breadcrumb. We are working on resolving the issue. I will update you onthis.

Also, on the homepage, Google SearchConsole is now giving a breadcrumb error.
Missing field “itemListElement”

yes. I have 2.1.5. The child category issue is fixed. However, the homepage issue is still happening.

I have updated to 2.1.6 and still have this same error on the homepage. I have enabled and disabled Breadcrumbs on the homepage and both result in the same error. I do have breadcrumb modifications in my child theme from https://catchplugins.com/support-forum/topic/breadcrumb-for-portfolio/

Do I need to alter this code?

Can you let me know what issue you are still having on the homepage?
I checked your homepage URL with google rich results test and did not find any issue.
