I am having an issue where I set up a blog page and it is inserting unwanted paragraph text in the page header. This is coming from somewhere and I have not found a way to remove it.

@caslon : Go to Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Homepage / Frontpage Options
Under Latest Posts Description : Remove the text to make it empty. Let me know if this resolves your issue.

Homepage/Frontpage options only has Check to disable Homepage/Frontpage Content checkbox

The blog page is currently a shortcode to pull all posts which is usable but not the visual look we wanted

@caslon : You can select the blog layout that is available in the theme. Go to Appearance => Customize => Homepage Settings
Under Posts page: Select blog page and publish. Let me know if you have any more issues.
