    I just updated to 4.7 and now all the wp-admin pages are blank. I updated the site, then the plugins, then the themes I have installed. After that, all admin pages started going blank as they refreshed. Nothing in the header and no error messages.

    The only active plugin I have is Akismet. I have a few gallery plugins installed, but not active. I turned them off because they all cause the Customize page to blank. Just like what is going on with the whole admin site. Unfortunately, I can’t turn off Akismet now to see if it is the problem because the plugin page is blank.

    Also, the category pages on the front side are also empty. The header loads, but nothing below the header shows up. The home page is fine. Also the posts I can access from the home page look fine. But, when I click a category, the content area is empty.

    Any suggestions?

    Hi @svswan,

    Was there a incomplete installation? You can try reinstalling WordPress as I think this is the case. If you can, try switching to default twenty-x themes and see if the problem persists.

    Let me know what happens after reinstalling WordPress. Also let me know the site url.

    Hi Pratik,

    Well, I went into the database and changed the theme option to twentythirteen. That got me back into the admin stuff. I started looking at the live previews and none of my themes showed a live preview. I tried to find some new themes, but I was unable to connect with WordPress. There was some kind of error connecting. So, I walked away for a bit. No idea why, but this am I was able to load a bunch of themes, including Catch Adaptive. I still cannot use the Customize tool, but at least I can see my WP Admin pages.

    I have no idea what happened. I guess the issue resolved itself. Some kind of temporary wackiness. Must have been a caching issue somewhere…

    Hi @jvswan,

    For testing purposes, can you try a new clean WordPress installation and try our theme. I suppose this is not a theme related issue.
