Having changed from Kathmandu theme to Adventurous my text on the slider images no longer stands out due to color issues against the picture background.
I am struggling to add custom CSS to change the text color and maybe add a shaded background to the text. Could you provide an example of what code is needed?

@bobgarretthomenetworks-co-uk: Every thing seems to be fine in my end, Please check out the screenshot. Can you please clear your browser cache.If you want to change the slider text color, you can use following CSS
Go to=> Appearance=> Customize=>Additional CSS and add the following CSS code

.entry-title a{
color: #FF0000 !important;
}

Let me know if this works out!
