I am using your deccree free wordpress theme. I want to add html geo tags to my wordpress website.
But as you mention editing theme .css will result in getting no future updates.Kindly tell how to do it without any problem in getting theme updates.

I tried to find wordpress geo tag plugin but the only right plugin I found was outdated and not working.
Kindly help me in this regard. Its very important for me.

First of all this plugin is outdated, secondly it does not solve my query.
What I want to add is in area between <head> and </head>. and the code is
<meta name=”geo.region” content=”IN-CH” />
<meta name=”geo.placename” content=”Chandigarh” />
<meta name=”geo.position” content=”30.718865;76.74439″ />
<meta name=”ICBM” content=”30.718865, 76.74439″ />The plugin does not provide any such feature to add it.
Kindly solve the issue.

VikasMarch 13, 2018 at 3:17 am #133362MaheshKeymaster@vikas: As @skandha has mentioned, it is not recommended to edit theme code as you will lose all the changes when the theme is updated. The best alternative is to use a Child theme instead.
And as for the issue you are currently having, the feature you are seeking falls beyond the theme support scope. I recommend you to hire a customizer.Regards,
