Hi, the featured slider option I’m using in Simple Catch works very good, but I was wondering if it’s possible to add text into the slider/into the pictures. I have seen this in some plugins, but because these also change the design of my homepage I was wondering if there is an alternative (except for editing the pictures, add text and upload them again).

Thanks for your reply. I am using the Featured Post Slider, and I am wondering if you can add text into/on the (slider)picture that is shown on the homepage, sort of like a homepage banner on the picture.

Hi Sakin,

Thanks again, I have seen this video wich was very helpfull when building my website. My question though is if you can add text in the picture on the featured slider, not below it.

So I’m wondering if the content of the featured slider can not only be an image, but text as well. I want to add a slogan into the picture shown on the homepage/in the slider.

If not thanks, thanks anyway, otherwise very curious on how to add this.

@marieke456: Yes the Featured POst slider will take the image, title and excerpt form the post.

Hi Sakin, thanks again. I know it takes the content of the post, but my question is if you can add new content into the picture when shown on the header page. I guess I’ll have to find a different slider with more options. Thanks for trying to help me out!
