Keymaster@bekay86: I see that you are using version 2.6 so you can just go to “Appearance => Them” then you will see update message. You can just click on update to update theme them which will restore your file as well.

Keymaster@bekay86: You customization done though Theme Options panel will remain. Only core theme files such as style.css, footer.php, header.php, index.php, functions.php will be reverted back.

Keymaster@bekay86: I see that you have customize the core theme files. So, restore the Theme and then it will work fine.
Please do not remove the footer theme text in Free theme as that is the only recognition that we get for providing free theme and free support.
If you want to edit footer text then upgrade to Pro version and change it easily though “Footer Option” from “Appearance => Theme Options”. See more about Catch Box Pro at http://catchthemes.com/theme-instructions/catch-box-pro/

MemberThanks for the quick response Sakin.
When I click the upgrade now button, it tells me I will lose all customization.
I’m a bit hesitant to do this as I’m not sure how much I will lose. Will it be a complete reset of my site?
Will I lose the featured images in my slider?
Can I make backups of info in the editor and just replace it again after the upgrade?September 17, 2013 at 11:56 am #14658In reply to: Featured Slider Problem

Keymaster@moffie: It looks like there is conflict with the plugin you have installed. So, can you try disabling the plugins and check in.

Keymaster@tnotty: You can add the following CSS in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box.
.featured-slider .slides { border-bottom: 20px solid #fee000; }September 13, 2013 at 10:46 pm #14510In reply to: Featured Slider Problem
Sakin
Keymaster@bekay86: You need to add in the post IDs in “Appearance => Theme Options => Featured Slider => Slider Options”.
I just see that you have added the Post ID 540
But I don’t see other Post ID.
You need to post ID “#1 Featured Post ID”, “#2 Featured Post ID”, “#3 Featured Post ID” and “#4 Featured Post ID”September 13, 2013 at 6:46 pm #14500In reply to: Featured Slider Problem

MemberI have a related question about the featured image set for each page. When I select the featured image specific to any page using any image it gives me a white horde around the image.
I would like to have no border/margin so it looks exactly the same size the rotating slider image size.

Sakin
Keymaster@moontrug: You can add in your own image with Catch Everest theme. If you are using Catch Everest Free theme then you only have option to use Featured Post Slider, which mean you have to add in the post id and the theme will take that particular post Featured Image, title and excerpt content. See the theme instruction at http://catchthemes.com/theme-instructions/catch-everest/ and this screenshot http://pinterest.com/pin/548594798329984427/.
But if you use Catch Everest Pro theme then you can use Image Slider, see this screenshot http://pinterest.com/pin/548594798329874581/

MemberHy Sakin,
I have the same wish to insert a picture instead of the text into the homepage headline area. I tried the recommended solution by inserting html code for pictures, but I am not a technical person and couldn’t figure it out how to do it. Especially didn’t find how to give the picture location.
Is there any other way to insert a picture between the slider and featured content area on homepage? as I observed it was possible on this site: http://www.xylemclothing.com
I would appreciate your help.
Thanx,
Robert -
