thanks a lot for your appreciate quick answer. The problem with the menu-buttons has been solved, they appear now all in the same line!

I had only to increase `…(max-width: 1060px)…` to 1160px, don’t ask me why.

Now it remain the issue:
“the width of right part of the the header-image will be reduced. In it place will be displayed the background color of the website”

I cannot understand if this is only a problem of displaying on the tablet or a wrong basic-setup of the entire website. Its appearing on PC is perfect, pages are displayed right centered in the middle of the screen. On tablet, it seams to be all moved to the left side of the screen. Only the selected background color stays right.

Perhaps, you have also a good tip about !

Hello Sakin,

I followed all your advises, its means, manually emptying via ftp of cache-directories, from W3 Total Cache (it was already deactivated but I reactivated it and after emptying deactivated one more time), finally emptyng of browser cache but the problem persists.

Might be that I missed important information/modifies in the last time regarding new versions of WP and Catch Evolution Pro ? Its means, new or deprecated functionalities or something like this? I tell you that because I’m not daily working on the site and generally with web-designing. I recognize that the environment of WP is not the same, for example, if I create a new post, this will be displayed with a white background color (since WP 5.6). Before, the post tok the same background like the page, the same for existing and new images etc.. I found more of such strange things…perhaps upgrades have changed basic settings on default set…

I keep on searching! Please let me know If you have further ideas.

Hi Sakin,

thank you for your answer.

Child theme will be used for additional customization too and all plugins are updated. Regarding this topic, i temporarily deleted style.css located in ..\wp-content\themes\catch-evolution-pro-child\ and moved it CSS-content into “Additional CSS” (about 400 lines of code) in order to activate my customizations directly from WP. No effect on the appearence.

Basically, I cannot understand why if I add few lines of code in style.css, these changes will be not considered, if i put this lines into CSS-additional they will be considered! In the past I could change pages in a very confortably way.

As second action I tried to exclude each plugin one by one. The only positive response was by deactivating of W3 Total Cache plugin.
The main menu was displayed again in the right appearence and position. Unfortunately, other troubles remained !

Before I started upgrade 5.6 of WP I did a complete backup of last installed version 5.33 (database + home_directory). I could downgrade the system if you mean that I can better recognize source of troubles. What do you think about?

Please let me know how you want to proceed in order to check child-theme functions and CSS.

Hi Skandha,

in the meanwhile I have deeper searched for a possible reason.
If I exclude Style.css from my child-theme, the site will back
to the original catch-evolution-pro appearence. This means that style.css
is more or less working, unlike what I told you.

I have also to tell you that yesterday I have updated WP from V5.53 to V5.6. Starting from
this point i recognized this big problem with displaying of the site.
Perhaps this additional information can help you further.

please help me!
Always related to my first post, I thought, I only have to update my catch-evolution-pro license from 3.6 to 4.0.2 (it was expired at 2020.11.7). I did it today in order to solve my problems, unsuccesful. Do you remember? I use a child-theme to customizes appearence of my site and all those personalisations are wrote in “style.css”. Please, take a look on the site (www.astrolive.ch), you will see what I mean. It seams that this file will be not considered anymore and I really don’t know what I have to do to solve this issue.

thank you for your answer!
I wrote a wrong path where i modify my personalized style.css

the right one is:
../wp-content/themes/catch-evolution-pro-child/

sorry for the mistake.

Anyway, I agree you and I would be very happy if i could move my customizations to
the internal editor through Additional CSS but this tool has a very small area for editing
and I have to put into it over 400 lines of code. I need a large screen to keep full overview on
what I write into.

Is there a way to direct edit the corresponding file connected to this tool or a large editing-area of the tool in a next version?

As I already wrote, I sets back the SEo-plugin to Yoast-SEO.
Now, the Google Webmaster tool shows me 205 scanned products with warnings.
Warnings are “You have to specify “offers”, “review” or “aggregateRating”.

Hi Skandha,

this issue will be recognized from Google-webmaster-tool by 218 of 398 product-pages of the online-shop (i suppose the first 218 scanned items from the tool).
Ypo can find them at:
http://www.astrolive.ch/shop (there are here 5 shelfs).

Unfortunately I cannot give you more specifics information about because I cannot understand myself
what it happens and where the problem is sourcing. I cannot find any track in the website-backend regarding modifying/adjusting of these parameters “offers”, “review” “aggregateRating”.

i’ve recognized a comic thing testing responsive design of my site.

Please, try to click following links with an iPad2, iPad Air and so on:

This link shows the homepage. You can see, the menu-bar has 2 rows (in the 2nd row is placed the Login button):

This link shows the same but we are now in the shop (WooCommerce). The screen-shoot shows the overview of product-categories:

This link shows shows a category of products and if you take a look on the menu, you can see that all buttons are aligned on a single line (and this is right, as i would like). There is no black highlighting on the bottons of selected page.

The strange thing is that if you see link nr. 1 and 2, the highlightet page is bold (black coloured).

The 3rd one doesn’t have this kind of highlighting and the menu line is a single one.

PROBLEM SOLVED ! System works now perfectly !

The Host-provider added the file php.ini to my installation and following line in .htaccess:
SuPHP_ConfigPath /home/astroliv/public_html/php.ini

In php.ini following line was also added:
memory_limit = 128M

I’m afraid to cause this unnecessary engagement.

Hi Mahesh,

Yes, all seems to work properly (layout options etc.). As I already said to you, the only thing that is not running is the access to the “Appearance” setting. If i deactivate WooCommerce runs “Appearance” function again. I tought, i show you what recently happened in order to give you a better overview related to this issue.

But let’s wait for an answer from my provider regarding memory limit as you advised.
I didn’t know that the hosting-provider can increase/decrease performances (i’m a beginner, don’t forget…!).

Hi Mahesh,

you are right! It seems to be WooCommerce (V. 2.6.11) responsible for this kind of crash.

Regarding to this plugin, I would remember you that last oktober 2016, your development-dept has released a version to fix an issue related with the side-bar/layout page of Catch Evolution Pro. Perhaps, the actual problem is connected with this kontext. I’m guessing the latter now!

If you are editing that particular page then it will be change only on that particular page. It won’t change for all. If you want to change for all the page then you need to change from “Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Layout Options”

But WooComemrce take but different in Catch Evolution pro theme. In WooCommerce page, it check for “WooCommerce Sidebar”. If there is widgets in “Woocommerce Sidebar” then it will show both sidebar or single sidebar as per your layout setup in “Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Layout Options”. But if you don’t have widget in “WooCommerce Sidebar” then it will just display page without sidebar.

We will wok on adding “Woocommerce Layout” in next version update. Thanks for the detail info.
