Hi sorry if I wasn’t clear, I’d like the first / most recent post on my website to look something like they do on these websites: http://minimalistbaker.com/ http://detoxinista.com/

They have a large picture and excerpt for their most recent post then they have thumbnails and excerpts following underneath their latest post. Is it possible to code this in rather than changing themes?? I just want to change the first post and keep the older posts looking the same.

Thank you! this works but how do i make the image stretched so it’s just one image and not tiled? This is what i’m using at the moment…

Hello,

I’m using simple catch theme and I’m trying to upload my own image to replace the grey background in the top half of the website. How do i do this? I’ve tried a couple of codes in custom css using the image url but they didn’t work. Ialso tried uploading it under Appearance > Header but it just came up as a smaller image under my logo. I want to keep my logo image and have another image under it as a background (replacing the current grey background). my site is http://www.isleofflora.com
