The indent problem is due to image. So, you can move the UL to clear. You can add the following CSS in “Appearance => Theme Options => Custom CSS” box to change the bullet to disk in content area.

Issue #3: Page Sidebar Bullet appearance
This issue will be solved by issue 1 and 2.
