RodeBoyParticipant
Thanks Skandha. Strange.
Using PageSpeed Insights I have just had the following results, which are similar to those of the other day. All sites are on the same server.
MattFurness.co.uk Mobile 28 Desktop 54
DrumTeacher.co.uk Mobile 46 Desktop 96
SessionDrummer.co.uk Mobile 27 Desktop 58I appreciate that speed isn’t everything but I found the results a bit surprising.
Look forward to hearing from you
Chris
RodeBoyParticipantAll sorted with version 2.0.6 updates. Thanks Skandha
RodeBoyParticipantAny updates with this Skandha? When I compare my site with the demo on my iphone the difference is that in the demo version once you click a menu item the menu goes back to the original display. With mine it stays full page until you click the x
I guess I must have something in there it doesn’t like.
Thanks,
ChrisRodeBoyParticipantSkandha, I am beginning to wonder if my original query did not explain my issue in enough detail. I can see that the menu fills the screen, but when I click on ‘Website Design’ for example the menu continues to fill the screen until I click the x in the menu box. It will then reduce, leaving me at the correct point on the page. This is all using my iPhone 8 plus.
So, in summary, the problem is not the menu filling the page it is that it doesn’t reduce once a menu item is selected. Does that help explain it further? Sorry if I was not clear at the start.
Do you think it is something to do with the menu items referring to anchor points on the home page rather than a separate page?
Many thanks, Chris
RodeBoyParticipantYep, you were right (of course!) All good now.
Any updates on the menu issue? Is it just my site, as the demo version doesn’t seem to behave in the same way.
Thanks as ever Skandha.
Chris
RodeBoyParticipantFor your info Skandha I have updated to 2.0.5 and then tried to remove the code you supplied but the background issue returned. So I have re-applied the code.
RodeBoyParticipantThanks for the update Skandha. From my point of view I’m glad it doesn’t appear to anything i’ve done!
RodeBoyParticipantWorks a treat treat Skandha. Thanks.
Look forward to a solution to the iphone menu issue.
Regards, Chris
RodeBoyParticipantMy site already had this CSS coding in there which I thought was totally strange. Then I found this https://catchthemes.com/support-forum/topic/catch-full-screen-pro-the-header-is-not-responsive/
I can see that is where the coding came from, so I am not going mad! That all said, the problem is still there (as is the menu one)
Look forward to hearing from you soon as I would like to use this theme on a new website I will be building for a customer in a couple of weeks.
Thanks Skandha,
Chris
RodeBoyParticipantI have just updated to version 2.0.4 and still have the same issue. Is it still the same for you Skandha?
RodeBoyParticipantThanks Skandha. I have updated the theme and can’t see any new issues. The problem with the menu on mobiles is still there, plus in addition the background image in the Promotion headline section on iPhone is zoomed right for some reason (not a new issue to the update). Again, it displays fine on my laptop.
Regards,
ChrisRodeBoyParticipantAny thoughts on this Skandha? Thanks.
RodeBoyParticipantI am unable to see how to attach an image to this post. Skandha, please see Messenger!
Thanks as always, Chris
RodeBoyParticipantP.S. It works fine on my laptop
RodeBoyParticipantHi Skandha, I use an iPhone 8 Plus, although it is the same on my wife’s iPhone XR.
When i click the burger menu it just fills the screen and doesn’t give me the part f the website requested. I hope that makes sense!
RodeBoyParticipantI had already left a review a year ago but have now updated it to include your recent support. Thanks Skandha
RodeBoyParticipantSorry Skandha I have not received anything from you other than the notifications of your replies on this thread. I have sent you a friend request on Facebook as that might be an easier way to communicate! Thanks.
I will now leave feedback following your response to my other query.
Regards, Chris
RodeBoyParticipantThat is the correct email address. Could I ask you to re-send please as nothing has arrived here? Thanks
RodeBoyParticipantThank you. No email received as yet!
RodeBoyParticipantBrilliant! I’m glad it’s not the theme, and have inserted the CSS coding. I have also asked Google to validate the changes and will keep you informed.
Thanks again
