I was able to customize the javascript being used for the diagrams, so that it is now responsive. The diagram is looking good on all devices.

Thanks for your response as I was thinking that by customizing the theme I would be able to achieve this effect. But it is clear now I needed to adjust the diagram code.

Hi Sakin,

For the moment, I figured out another way to customize styles since I’m able to modify the code for the plugin I’m using.

However, I did create a custom theme as you suggested by following the link provided. I now understand how to do this. I’m sure it will come in handy as I continue to customize my website.

Hi Sakin,

I don’t think I worded my question appropriately. The theme obviously has code that detects whether the website is being displayed on a mobile device.

I was wondering if there is a way to hook into that code so that I’m able to display an appropriate sized version of the tactics app?

I’m currently working on updating the code so that the app can resized or perhaps responsive.

Does that make sense?

Hi Sakin,

GoDaddy is my web hosting provider. I called them and sure enough they knew what to do to fix it. There was a mobile redirect from a DudaMobile company they used to work with and my website happened to still have the setting turned on. They turned it off and now my website is displaying as expected through the smartphone.

So the solution is to work with your web host to turn the feature off.

Hi Sakin, I did the setup and have not added any special plugins. Perhaps along the way I may have tweaked something unknowingly. It’s interesting if I clear history/cache on my iphone and type in the full url then it brings up the classic view. If I type in something like chess-instructor.com, then it seems Safari is adding “mobile.” and it brings up the distorted view.

Please let me know if there is some setting in the theme that could be causing it. Or if perhaps is a setting in Safari that makes it work that way.
