    I figured it out. I had begin creating a foot page for the child theme and stopped in the middle….by the time I came back I had forgotten this…Now I copied and pasted original. Thanks for your feedback Sakin. Sorry to waste your time.

    Right! Didn’t you mention that if I updated WP I would get it back if it had been changed? I am not sure what happened but I didn’t do anything with footer except in the widget section.

    ok I am just getting back to site development now. I updated the theme which would have updated the WordPress footer coded that you thought I may have manipulated and the footer and wordpress ad still is not showing. Is there something else I can do? Can you access my site to see yet? Thanks

    I don’t think I did. I have only changed things in a separate css file that I made. Where would I look for that change in the file?
