thank you. The CSS worked perfect, but I don’t have a Share Daddy plugin, so the share buttons issue was not resolved. See here: http://destinationvows.ca/a-twist-on-a-classic/
Also, the bottom show three “related” posts links in three columns that I would also like to get rid of. Please advice.

Thank you very much for correcting the issue. Can go ahead and erase the Child Theme and if the upcoming update will remove your fix in the Parent Theme? If yes, maybe I should create a new Child Theme just to be safe. Please advice. Thanks again.

You asked me for my login info and I thought you were going to help me by getting rig of anything related to Advance Custom Fields, but sadly you did not. Since I am not qualified to pinpoint the problem by myself, my only choice is to erase the current child theme and create a new one, but Catch Themes MUST put back the code that Sangeeta inserted so that my Featured Image Sliders have a working Read More link on them and not the falsely advertised “Check to disable Read More text”. I would need this done ASAP. Please advice. This recommened by Catch Theme Theme, is causing me a lot of grieve already, VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Mahesh, I don’t even know how to get there. Sangeeta should have our WP site login. When you are there, maybe you can erase that file for good or anything that has to do with Advanced Custom Fields, because we are not using anything like that anymore and we disabled Advanced Custom Fields, the only reason we have not erased the plugin is because we had to pay for it, but we don’t need it. Those who created the previous website, installed who knows what in Full Frame Child but we are not longer using their services, they had hidden the Blog Page, because obviously it was a mess, but we need back so we enabled, ACF is probably what is affecting many things we notice in the Blog and other pages that used the complicated plugin. Ideally we would love to use the Parent Theme, but you guys have to correct the issue with the Featured Image Slider that is the only one that has no Read More Text even thought it shows that it can be enabled or disabled. That’s a major issue that I was promised it would be corrected in a next update but two updates have come and nothing, it is very frustrating. Please help.

Nice, I see you updated, but you forgot to fix the same bug in the footer. Hover Active Text Color does not work.

I am not longer using Advance Custom Fields, I don’t need it, so that plugin has been disabled.

The MAIN REASON why I purchased this theme, was because I needed a Full Frame Slider with a Read More button on it. I contacted Catch Themes and Sangeeta recommended this particular theme that disappointingly has not to worked as promised. I have the email exchanges with Sangeeta from April 27 at 12:32AM and this was what he replied:

“Hello Luis, Thanks for your feedback to Full Frame Pro Theme. We will check that on how we can implement that. Looks like there is no Read More only in Featured Image Slider. In Full Frame Pro, if you choose Featured Post Slider or Featured Category Slider or Featured Page Slider. Then it shows Read More”

Then on June 25 at 1:01 AM, Sangeeta wrote:

I am very frustrated and disappointed at Catch Theme. Please resolve this issue ASAP, it is a Catch Theme problem affecting a client that has purchased four themes from you, so please do something about it.

It does not happen in the Parent Theme and I am not happy because I am back at square one.

Feature Slider==>Select Slider Type==>Featured Image Slider, says “Check To Disable Read More Text”, but even though this shows up in the Feature Image Slider Customization section , IT DOES NOT WORK and I NEED IT TO WORK. I need a READ MORE link as per in the ChildTheme or better yet, a Read More button.

Sangeeta @CatchThemes, kindly did a temporary fix by adding some code in the ChildTheme, so that the Feature Image would have a Read More Link.

Now things are not working in the ChildTheme Blog the way they should, you rightly tell me that it is because I am using the Child Theme, I switch, posts display correctly in parent theme, but I cannot use the parent theme (as I would love to), because the Feature Image Slider does not do what the theme says it does which was the main reason why I purchased this theme: Feature Slider With a Read More Link), it simply does not work, worse even, the Content Box is not even clickable!

I was told by Sangeeta that this issue was going to be resolved in a next update, I updated but nothing was done to it. That was months ago. I need a solution ASAP. I am not happy.

It worked, now I need the Hover Active Color in the Main Menu, (also missing button) to be red as in the submenu.

Thank you, It does display in the parent theme.

Header Featured Image Options enabled and refreshed but made no difference in the Child theme.

I’d switch to the Parent Theme, but Sangeeta (at CatchThemes.com) added a slider code in my child theme functions.php so a Read More red link would show on the image slider, since there is no Read More button available in the slider of the parent theme, so I am stuck with the Child Theme until this capability is added to the Parent Theme.

Dear Mahesh,

Option 1 did not work. I followed your instructions Dashboard=> Appearance=> Customize=> Theme Options=> Fixed Header Top Option, but the last step (select/Add Logo Icon) there is nothing to click to Remove, there is no image selected and there are only 3 options:

Check to disable Primary Menu
Check to disable Header Toggle (this one is selected)
Check to disable Header Right Sidebar

Thank you for the solutions.

I am still struggling with the Featured Image Slider. I must have done something wrong and disabled its front end visible link/button, because I cannot conceive that only the Title of the Image functions as a link/button in the front end but only if visitors figure it out by hovering over it. There have to be a way to activate the excerpt within this text box to make it visible. I tried your recommendation on using Post/Page category slider but it takes me to either pages or posts and that’s not what I want to do, I want to show the images as they show now.

Why to offer link boxes for the image Title in the Featured Image Slider category in the back end if the links are nowhere to be found on the front end?

The images have the correct dimensions: 1680×720 more even the top (part of the same blue sky and green palm tree was cropped to keep the required size.

I have there more questions:

1. Featured Slider: Is there a way to keep the opacity/transparency box permanently on at and not only when hovering over it? As per in Everest Theme
2. Is there a way to add a button or obvious link to the story linked to the feature image sliders so that people know they should click to read the story as in Everest Theme? Right now they have to assume to go to the opacity box to read what is in it, then click inside it to see the story.
3. On the 2nd image slider, there is a white thin line on top margin showing right above above the image, I have changed the image and keep the specified dimensions 1680x720px but it keeps on showing on the second image only (I have not tried adding a third image yet. How can I get rid of this? Unfortunately I have the theme on a local host (my computer so I cannot give you a link)

That’s exactly what I need to do, but I don’t know how to create such file. Where do I click to create a file where I will paste the copied single.php so that I can later rename it single.php within the child theme. Please walk me through, I don’t know how to do this very elementary step and I cannot find that info anywhere.

1. Where in the Child Theme do I paste that information?
2. Do I need to create a “Child Editor” within the Child Theme? If yes, how to?

I managed to get it to work. However, the choices “Enable Featured Content on” don’t show me how to place different feature content on every page as per http://www.destinationvows.ca the theme I am replacing with Full Frame.
Homepage/Front Page – Works as assumed
Entire Site – Places the SAME HomePage/FrontPage featured Content all across the entire website. However, I need to place different featured content on different pages independently of the one featured on the FrontPage. Please explain how do I enable this function.
