This is about my main menu bar, which does not look good with “Search” being in a separate row and and adding the height to the bar. I want everything what is there to stay there: Home, about me, travel blog, how to travel for free, privacy disclaimer, contact and search. I just want the main menu bar to be adjusted accordingly – all items in one row and reduced height of the bar to be the same size as secondary menu bar: Western USA, Easter USA, Central USA, Canada.
    Thank you!

This is my problem, I do not remember where I took it from and where I inserted it. I think I took, from WordPress forum. I actually want “search” to be there but at the same time I want the menu bar be much smaller – it is too high. If you have a solution to fix it with search remaining it would be ultimate.
I do not believe search alone is causing the problem. Bar was too high even before I inserted it. (I am 57 years old, it is all new to me but I am going somewhere. This is my last major problem.)
    Thanks!

I did, thank you! It looks like white spaces are better now but still issue with the main menu bar. If necessary, I am willing to remove search button from there but I would like to have it on the front page. With my layout it seems that the only area available is on the top of the page but it is hardly visible there.
You obviously noticed that I am rather clueless about all of this, so now I do not know where to go to remove search from the menu.
    I greatly appropriate your help!

Thanks for your help, but nothing works for issues below.I think I am following what you are telling me. When I copy your instructions, I paste into Custom CSS, save it and if it does not work, I delete it from CSS – I do not want it to be too messy. Maybe I deleted something I should not.
No solution yet on the following:
    1. Front page
    a. main menu bar (home, about me, etc) is too high
    b. the white spaces in between menus are too high

    #1c. Worked, thanks!
#2. Solved but you might look into it. When I was picking from the color circle it was not pulling any numbers. It would show the color but not the number. When I saved it and the went back to see if anything was saved, it was not,the box was blank. I copied and pasted from another area where the color was displayed with number in order to make it work.

    #1a & 1b did not work

    Thanks!

Please disregard #2. For some reason under Title color it was not picking up the number of color. I copied and pasted from another section and it took it!!!

I put together some remaining issues in order.
    1. Front page

    a. main menu bar (home, about me, etc) is too high

    b. In general,I would like to have this page more compact, the white spaces in between menus are too high also

    c. between main menu and secondary menu (Western USA, Eastern USA…) there is a broken link. I think it has something to do with my struggles to put a feature pictures there. I remember, I double clicked on the picture and it quickly showed in this exact area but then disappeared and never showed on my page. I kept trying to figure it out -it could be few pictures there hidden. (I figured out how to set feature images later but I do not want it there. Page is busy as it is).

    d. I like the idea of the slider but it seems taking over the entire page. i would like to make it smaller.

    2. Post title color is still black. I followed your instructions and it is still black.
    Thank you for your help!

    2. This is what it happening. I change the tile color, save it, but when I go back to, all other colors I have chosen for other areas are there, but this one is blank, no number displayed.
    5. How can adjust height and with of my menu bar? It looks messy.
    Thanks!

    Thanks!

I keep working and more problems! I would like to add a feature image to my home page. I went under Homepage Feature Content Option and added pictures but the only option I see is to add to post not a page. My uploads are not going anywhere. I have to Disable Homepage Featured Content because otherwise Catch Theme’s feature images show up.
Regarding my post above from 3:55 AM I meant latest posts, not post. These are the posts attached to my home page.
I know a lot issues! Thank you in advance for your help!

There another thing I am struggling with. I want titles of my posts to be blue not black. How can I change it? I went under Site Color Option but I am not sure which are I should change. It seems that not all areas can be changed.

Thank you very much, it worked! I am ALMOST where I want to be. In my latest post, it shows one post at the time. Is there a possibility to show four in a row, and then another four? I want my visitors to be able to see a spectrum of posts.
