UPDATE: I deactivated all third party plugins and then updated to the latest version of Everest pro. Then reactivated the plugins and the images have reappeared (for the time-being at least!)

Sorry, I’m using old typographic terms! I meant border-bottom under each menu item. As it is though, I’ve grown to like the menus without lines in between items!

Sakin, I found functions.php and copied it into my child theme. I added the code

    add_action( ‘catcheverest_after_footer_sidebar’, ‘catcheverest_header_menu’, 10 );

to the end of the file resulting in the pages being blank! Please could you explain to me where I should add the code.

    Thanks indeed,

    Lesley

Sakin, can I get to the functions.php via WP or do I need an editor? I have Dreamweaver…

    Worked it out:

On Page, set featured image (choosing one that is slider width) and check the default radio in Content Featured Image Size

In Theme Options > Header Featured Image Options >

Enable Featured Header Image > check Pages & Posts

Page/Post Featured Image Size > check Slider Image

Featured HeaderImage Position > check After Menu (or wherever you want your image to be)

    🙂

I see that I can use Header Featured Image Options to Enable Featured Header Image to Pages & Posts; but when I ad a Feature Image to a page the image is repeated in the text.

I would like to do something similar:

I have created a featured slider for the homepage but feel that single static images would be better for subsequent pages.

Is there a way to do this?

    Thank you!

@Sakin Yes, I can find the post ID (I installed the catch-ids plug in). The result of adding the ID is that I get the text from the post, but not the image.

Since, I have tried a completely different theme and can make the slider work no problem. Trouble is, I rather like this everest theme!

@Sakin Thanks for your help on this. Still not quite there… I can see that my posts have IDs, 1 thru 10, but if I add a post number to the Featured Slider Post field, then no image shows despite having an image in the post. I’ve tried adding eg. “10” and also “#10”
