It appears that the only thing that is appearing on the blog page is an archive. I can tell because I was able to control the layout under Layout Options – Archive Content Layout, which changed the layout of the blog/posts page. Plus there is not an option for categories under Homepage/Frontpage. What am I missing? Is there a theme update I missed?
Thanks!
imajonsParticipantThank you Skandha, I now have everything in order, except there is only one post showing on my Blog page. It seems to be a “Featured” post, not sure if I selected that category somewhere but now I can’t find it. How do I have all my posts show on the Blog page. And do I have any options as far as layout?
Thank you!
imajonsParticipantOh and it is now calling the Blog page Archive and News?
imajonsParticipantAlright, I did what you said and realized that if I select Sample Page as the homepage then I will get what I am looking for. Although it is displaying the blog as a “News” section randomly at the bottom, which I don’t want, but I am guessing that can be deleted/changed?
Thanks!
imajonsParticipantThe confusion is that I have it set to Latest Posts, and that is making my homepage be similar to the Audioman Pro theme demo, which is what I want. If I set it to Static, what happens to my demo-like homepage?
Thanks!
imajonsParticipantThanks so much! I was missing the !important 🙂
Ima
imajonsParticipant@tikaram Yes, it will go live in about a month. Do you even need to see it to advice on the page titles? Isn’t that just a setting somewhere, or perhaps a bug?
Thanks!
Ima
imajonsParticipantOh, and one other question is about the page titles. They are for some reason not showing up in the header. They were at first, but then disappeared. They are however showing up for posts pages, which is what I want.
Thanks!
imajonsParticipant@tikaram Sorry for the late reply. My site has not been published so I can’t give an url unfortunately. Working on it in my local environment. I guess I now would like to know what css to add to change the background color for pages and posts. I am not going to mess with the block background color any more. I know I can set the page background color in the Customizer, except when I set it there that changes the sections on the landing page, which I don’t want. So e.g. on my Team Section I want a black background, but when I change the Page Background color to #353535, which is what I want for all my page and post backgrounds, it also changes the Team Section background, along with every other section on the landing page. Would it be easier to change the background for the Team Section only, and use the Page Background selector for the pages and posts? Thanks!
imajonsParticipantOh, and I am also wanting to change/style the line-height for blocks in posts and pages. Thanks so much!
Ima
imajonsParticipantThank you Tikaram!
While I have you here, could you tell me how I can change the background color for the page/post blocks without having to change it on every page/post entry. I have tried all the background color options in Customizer, but none of those are for the block background. I am doing a site for a client, and they are not going to want to be in charge of changing the color every time they add a post.
Thanks!

imajonsParticipantNever mind, I figured it out. Although only because I was struggling to figure out how to create a playlist generally speaking, as that option seems to have been taken out of Media in Gutenberg. Totally weird! As if us musicians don’t want to include our custom music players any more on our sites! For those having the same issue, use the shortcode widget in your block (I think it works in either page or post). You can use something like this shortcode: [playlist ids="129,126" style="dark"], and make sure to add your own audio file IDs from your media library. See more custom options here https://codex.wordpress.org/Playlist_Shortcode.
Then to add the sticky header audio player, like in the demo, just go to Customizer – Theme Options – Header Top Playlist – and select the page or post from there. But creating the playlist with shortcode is the answer since you can’t do it in the Media Library any more.
