I want to do the same for some footer text and this is what I wrote but it does not work: #footer {
color: #6b3089 !important;}

Also, is it possible to add the log image to the footer? I’d like to do that in the far right corner of the footer.

I have catch responsive. Thank you but what you suggested isn’t available on my screen.
Perhaps thenes differ? I would think this should be an obvious thing to change.
Here is what happens: When I go to dashboard and then posts I see all the posts listed there is a row of windows on top.
The first option is “bulk actions” which include edit and move to trash. 
The next option is to select a certain month of posts. 
The next is the “categories” selection option.
When I select a particular post of edit there is also no way to stop allowing posts.
There is the “protect this content” option but I want it available to the public for reading.
BUT NOT for posting.
