No. This is exactly the look we DON”T want. None of the pages look correct now. Some of the images are pushed up and on others the pictures are doubled. Different pages have different sized pictures. It is very inconsistent and definitely a problem for the look we were trying to create.

Can you please change it back to the way it was? I appreciate your efforts, but this won’t work for us.

Regarding the page post featured image issue, no, the latest theme updage did not fix it. If I use a featured image it will not show up. I was told by @sapana that I would need to do a child theme and have it customized to get it to work. I don;t know why.

From searching the support forum to answers to my problems with the theme, it seems like this feature is a popular request. That’s why it surprised me that I can’t do it.

@skandha I added the code and it now shows the mobile menu box on all devices. It is not the hamburger icon I would have preferred, but it does keep everything from steping on the news ticker and featured image photos. 🙂

As far as the iPad screenshot, I don’t know how to attach a file here. You can, however, view the screenshot here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1pSccZcGkFRctzQIs27koGEVRbbueq0fo/view?usp=sharing. This picture is in horizontal view on the iPad. On my device, the vertical view displayed just fine. On my son’s iPad pro, he had the opposite problem: It displayed on horizontal fine, but he had a problem on viewing it vertically (He didn’t send me a screenshot).

We are not using a header image; we are using a featured image on each page and there does not seem to be a way to change the ticker position using that option. As long as we have the munu issue fixed, the news ticker can stay where it is.

Question: Why will the posts page not accept a featured image on the the main posts excerts page without creating a child theme and customizing? (See discussion on the problem I have been having here: https://catchthemes.com/support-forum/topic/featured-image-not-displying-on-posts-page/).

@sapana No, the issue is not resolved. I updated the theme, but the posts (news) page is still not displaying the featured image, even though every other page is displaying the featured images correctly.

@sapana: While I am waiting for them to fix this issue, is there a way to display the page title on just the posts (News) page? I added the CSS .page .entry-title { display: none; } to remove all the page titles across the entire site. How do I add back the page title for just this one page until we get the featured image issue resolved? And can I increase the font size of that one title if I need to? That would probably work as a temorary fix.

@sapana: Just in case it wasn’t clear, what I would really like to do is be able to use a unique featured image for each page, including the blog posts page (News). (Image size was 840 X630) I really did not want to use the featured header image (1900 x 600 size) because the images are not tall enough for my needs. I just could not get the featured image for the posts page to display on the page.

Does that clarify what I am looking to do?

@sapana: I apologize. I reloaded the image I wanted and it is now showing on the News blog post page. However, the picture are smaller (I think because I was using featured image sized images) and the menu is showing over the pictures and is hard to read.

I can resize the images, but it there a way to increase the padding above the header images so that the menu displays over the plain black background rater than the header images?

@sapana: Do you have an ETA on that update? This site needs to be completed within the next two weeks and if this issue can’t be resolved, I will have to abandon a theme that I paid for a pro version of.

@satana: That took care of the double image on the other pages, but it flipped the image and the news ticker on the first page. Also, all the images are now not showing at the same sizes that they were before.

It also still doesn’t show a featured image for the News page, which is what I want. The only imaage that shows on the page is the one from the test blog post.

No, that didn’t solve the problem. I had tried that before. That gives me double images on all the pages *EXCEPT* the News page, which still has no image except for the one in the test blog post. 🙁
