Thanks – this looks like it may work very well for us. Some questions for our research but this is very helpful – thanks!
fritzhesseMemberThanks Sakin. Will a video work in place of featured content?
ThanksfritzhesseMemberActually – I was confused. I am using Catch Everest Pro. On WordPress I do see an update for version 1.3 but I do not see a version 1.4 available. I don’t see any on the my account tab on catchthemes.com. Where should I get the latest .zip file?
fritzhesseMemberThanks Sakin – very helpful. I ended up using no-repeat so the border was only at the top.
Thanks!
fritzhesseMemberI found that you can make the override in catcheverest-functions.php. Included there is the text used for each network image.
fritzhesseMemberThanks. This helped solve it. Thanks!
fritzhesseMemberHi Sakin –
Using Catch Everest Pro.
http://www.lacostafilmfestival.orgIs it easy/possible to change the Twitter icon from the lower case t to the bird?
Also – following the above thread it looks like I could change the .png files – but am not sure where to find them. I didn’t see them on my file server but I’m not sure if I am looking in the right place.
Thanks
fritzhesseMemberWorked perfectly – thanks. I also added a color for the hover – that works too.
Sorry about the password – we are testing with our shopping cart and need to be careful before we launch.
fritzhesseMemberAdding to this – is there a way to change the color of the active page text only? For example in the previous solution you provided, I was able to change the background but not the text color for the active menu. I would like my active menu text blue, with a white background. IF I wanted to make the active menu underlined, is that a simple border change?
`/* For Active Menu */
#header-menu .menu .current-menu-item > a,
#header-menu .menu .current-menu-ancestor > a,
#header-menu .menu .current_page_item > a,
#header-menu .menu .current_page_ancestor > a { background-color: #4385cd; }`
Thanks!fritzhesseMemberThanks – that worked. I had to remove the override I put in the style.css – and this worked nicely.
fritzhesseMemberI’ve turned it off for a while today if you want to look. We are still under development and will likely lock it later for a few more days.
fritzhesseMemberThanks, this worked well. One item not working well on this is the actual active menu title which sits on top of the menu stack. It is white with a black shadow – would be nice to be able to change that especially for situations when there is a full white background on the site.
Thanks
fritzhesseMemberThe changes worked well. Thanks!
fritzhesseMemberfritzhesseMemberfritzhesseMemberThanks – the margin change worked perfectly.
Regarding the header logo – I replied directly to you via email with an example but am not sure if you received that. Is it possible to have the main logo show partially in front of the menu bar and slider below. I think it is done with absolute positioning and z-index in normal HTML. I would then need to space out some of the nav menu items so they are not hidden. This may not be possible.
Thanks
