I have now updated my theme and the slider has returned, though I notice that it is missing my four most recent posts. I’ll manually amend that and I’m glad to have the functioning slider back in place.

So does this mean without any warning you removed the Featured Post Slider from the free version of Catch Box?? I’m not very happy about that, if that’s the case. Or are you saying that the slider will return when you issue the fix?

The only option I see under Slider Options is this;

Check to Exclude Slider posts from Homepage posts

and selecting or unselecting this tick box doesn’t appear to affect anything. There’s no Enable Slider option.

Are you suggesting I disable all other plugins, to test if they are affecting things?

I understand that I can increase the number of slides, but in that view, is it possible to make the new empty line appear at the top?

Hi, I had this same issue and to avoid having to edit any code I followed the advice of creating an image that contained the logo and website title and subtitle positioned as I wanted them.

I then made that the header image and disabled the header text. take a look at my site first if you wish to see it in action. http://www.inhighdefinition.co.uk

This does of course mean that your website title is no longer text so perhaps has SEO implications but the alternative was to learn code. The topic thread was Reposition Logo and Website Title
