Thanks, I tried and knew that already, but any text thrown in there looks grossly different than if I use the same text using the same html in a post, that’s very strange…that’s why I think it has something to do with the theme

Would be great if you had another idea maybe.

sorry this is not what I meant, it works changing alignement and text size within p-taggs of all posts. What I would need is some CSS that only changes alignement and possible size of the words in the picture description that one can find under the photos inserted in the post.

Do you have any idea how that can be achieved?

Thanks a lot. Yes it works with the featured posts on the homepage but what I meant were text posts like this here:

Hi Tikaram,

Thank you very much. This changes the color of both the title and the content.Is there a way to only address the content box?

I already have this added as Additional CSS for changes of the title size and color:

@media only screen and (min-width: 990px) {
#main-slider .slides .entry-title a {
color: #fff;
font-size: 35px;
}
}

Hi @ Pratik,

Thanks for getting back. I’ll keep that suggestion in mind for later use ’cause meanwhile the guys from YOAST said I should not have two different URLs being on WordPress Address (URL) and Site Address (URL). They advised to use the same URL on the both fields which I did and voila: Slider and Featured Contend are back 🙂

Sorry for creating all this trouble trying to use those different URLs…..

Would you recommend to use the backup I made before setting the site to https and start the wholes procedure again or do you think there might be a solution for the Customizer problem with the present installation?

All right, thanks for clarifying.

Nevertheless, Featured Contend / Featured Slider is not accessible via Customizer.

I tried everything you recommended, no improvement:

1. A different browser
2. A different system
3. Disabling all plugins

My wild guess would be a database curruption. Do you think it might be a solution to reinstall the whole theme? But how do I keep my seetings then?

Hi @pratik,

Trying to run Customizer -> Featured Contend / Featured Slider on a different system with Chrome, I get the following in the main window:

Non-existent changeset UUID.

Looks like I wrecked parts of the whole installation during that conversion to https process. What do you say, any chance to fix that problem?

Thanks for getting back.

I tried different browser already, didn’t help.

But after disabling the Chield security plugin I the following message showed up when I tried to access Featured Contend / Featured Slider:

Blocked by the Content Security Policy (CSP)
This website has a content security policy that prevents the website from being integrated in this way.
Firefox has prevented this website from being loaded in this way because the site has a content security policy that does not allow this.

Any idea what that might mean?

Hi Pratik,

Thanks for getting back.

I think I did all this and evrything else on the site seems to be working just fine.

But when I access featured content or featured slider in the customizer all the boxes are gone it’s “no show” just a grey field. The only selection left is
Enable Slider -> and the dropbox beneath, nothing at all after that.

The the same with the featured contend settings

Quite strange. Do have another idea for a solution to this?

With the entries there I would like to have a bullet point or some kind of mark that gives an optical separation especially if the text covers two lines.

Hope this makes it somewhat clearer…
