By The Way, The social menu does work when it’s in the Header, just not the Footer.
Does this theme allow a menu in the footer??dave HartParticipantThat was a poor work around using CT: Featured Images. Not at all what I want. So no, I am still having no success using CT: Social Icons. Please help
dave HartParticipanthttp://www.hartmusic.com I have some “additional CSS” but I tried deleting that to see if it was causing an issue. It made no difference.
thx
dave HartParticipantStill no luck. This theme only allows menus in 2 locations, Header and Social. I’m unclear how to determine where “Social” is located. I want it in the footer. The customizer also states in the Widget section
“Your theme has 7 other widget areas, but this particular page doesn’t display them.
You can navigate to other pages on your site while using the Customizer to view and edit the widgets displayed on those pages.”What does that mean?
I created a new menu called “Social Icons” and assigned it to “Social” menu. I uploaded PNG images of a couple icons and added their URLs to the “custom Links” of the Menu. I then go to Footer 1 and add the widget CT: Social Icon and select the new menu “Social Icons”. Nothing. No change. What am I doing wrong??
dave HartParticipantStill not working. I’ve tried everything. created new menu with custom links, assigned to social media menu. Added CT: Social Icons widget to footer #1. The only thing that shows up in the footer is the menu title. No navigation label, no links at all. Also, there is nowhere to add links to icons when menu is created. All I see is “URL” and “Navigation Label”. This shouldn’t be that difficult. Can you please walk me through?
dave HartParticipantI am also having this problem but I am in the pro version (Fotographie Ver. 2) I cannot seem to get social Icons in the Footer no matter what I’ve tried. Can you pleas walk me through. I’m trying to use CT: Social Icons widget. I created a menu and assigned to Social Media Menu. Nothing shows up but the title of the menu. No icons, no links
dave HartParticipantThank You, I will try that. My subscription is from 2017 so it’s expired. (Key 73c59f924a9537536980c4deb6e9dcf0)
dave HartParticipantHi Skandha,
Although it did toggle the screen at 1040, it caused other problems. The menu was defaulting to open rather than the 3 (hamburger) lines, and the submenus still didn’t work and were out of alignment.
Also, I received this email from Sangeeta:
Hi Dave,
Right now the Fotografie Pro mobile menu is visible only in screen resolution 768px and below. For other it will show desktop menu. Since, ipad screen is more then 768px, that’s why it’s not showing mobile menu.
In next version, we are raising screen resolution to 1024px. So, please wait for few days.
