I updated my Rock Star free theme to 1.6 on Friday, and experienced several issues with pages that were build with the WPBakery Page Builder (formerly Visual Composer) addon:

1. Pages could no longer be edited with WPBakery Page Builder — it would fail to open the page completely
2. The various blog post grid format items would fail to display anything at all
3. The image gallery slider widgets did not work — they instead created vertical columns of image

I was able to download and revert to the 1.5 version of the Rock Star theme, at which point everything worked fine again.

Just wondering whether there is anything to be done about this other than ignore updates? And is there any diagnostic information that I can provide? Thanks…

@rswonger: The theme update 1.6 release was a minor release and no major changes has been made to structure of the theme. Having said that the theme has not been tested for compatible with WPBakery Page Builder plugin. You can check out the changelog to see what changes was made to the theme.
Maybe you can activate the theme to 1.6 so that I can try looking in to the issues.
