I’m using the Photo Journal Pro theme, and I really need to make the website Copyright information in the footer different from the site title, but it seems like they are inextricably linked, which is really truly not helpful. Why would you do that? I can see it as a generally useful thing, but there are also many situations where the names an information need to be different!
Where in the code do I change that, as it’s clearly not an option from the theme editing interface?
Please help!
Thanks,
Michelle
(the site I’m using it for is milaprosek.com…..)

There is Footer Editor Option in the customizer where you can edit the footer text.
Go to => Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Footer Editor Options => Footer content => Edit the text and Publish.
Let me know if this works out!

I’m using the free version of the theme right now….does that only show up in the paid/upgraded version? I don’t have a budget for the paid version yet. All I have under Theme Options is the following: Excerpt Options, Featured Content, Featured Slider, Hero Content Options, Homepage/Frontpage Options, Layout Options, Pagination Options, Portfolio, Scrollup Options, Search Options, Service, and Testimonials.
I’ve been through all the other menu options forward and backward….if I change the Site Title under Site Identity, then it changes the footer copyright info, but I don’t want to change the site title, and I don’t want that footer Copyright pulling the site title info, I need to edit it separately. Any other suggestions? I’m not opposed to editing the theme code, but I need to know where that little bit is….
Thanks!

I am afraid the Footer Editor Option is only available in the pro version of the theme. I suggest yo to upgrade to pro. You can check out the additional-features available in the pro version of the theme.
Kind Regards,
