ParticipantNothing is the same as before. I updated and the backend access to wordpress stopped working. I changed the theme and was allowed back in and immediatley changed the theme back to Catch Base Pro 3.6. The same problem all over again.
I repeated the process but this time changed the theme back to Catch Base Pro 3.5. Everything works fine except now every single one of the customizations I did to the site are lost. I am in the process of a restore right now to salvage what I can.
Catch base 3.6 seems to have caused a bunch of problems for my site. I have the error log both before and after the install. Can you please take a look at it or advise on why/how this occured?

Keymaster@pal_coche: The update should not have caused such problem. Did you get any error while updating the themes? Which version of WordPress are you using? Updating the theme doesn’t cause lost of customization settings. Are you using any plugins? Sometimes plugins may cause problems. The theme is working fine on our server. Try disabling plugins and update the theme may it resolve the problem.
Let me know further if the problem persists.Regards,

ParticipantHi Mahesh,
While 3.6 was uploading I received a “server connection lost” or something like that. That is when most of the problems started. I couldn’t get in to back end so I disabled the theme and uploaded a different one. Once I was in, I redownloaded 3.6 and it uploaded fine. However, I received these errors.
Can I send you the error log in private message?

KeymasterHi @pal_coche,
I will send you an email, and then you can send me the error in that email. Please give me a few time.

KeymasterHi @pal_coche,
Your site is sending errors because it is exhausting the memory. You can follow the steps mentioned here.
Also, you can try renaming the plugins folder, some plugins hog up the memory and then try adding them one at a time to see which plugin is the culprit.
Also, you can ask your host to help you increase them memory limit. They can do it by adding php.ini file with correct parameters.

ParticipantThanks, Pratik. I’ll get in touch with support on my hosting company and see if this fixes the problem. I’ll let you know here as soon as I hear back.

ParticipantPratik:
I spoke with hosting company support and I believe (at least according to them) they figured it out.
The site was not actually connecting. So, when the update to 3.6 was happening it was consuming memory while waiting for it to connect. He reinstalled the core files and that took care of the memory issue and there seems to be no errors at the moment. I’ll update on here if something changes.
