Hi,

two short questions, because I just bought “Catch Base Pro”:

1) Is it possible to completely take out the “links” (a-tag) in the slider? I just want the slider to change the pictures, I do not want anything else (the navigation items are ok though). 🙂 When I tried it I could remove the links, but if I did a mouseover I still had the black background box like you have on your demo page (https://catchthemes.com/demo/catch-base/). I do not want any mouseover or link effect at all, it should only be able to change the pictures. It should use the user generated slider code, so I can add more images if I like to, not the example slider.

2) I really like the “featured content” option, but is it possible to show posts there? So that always my (lets say 4) newest posts are displayed there (like in e. g. WEN Business Pro “Latest News”)?

If it is too much asking I am sorry. The “clean” slider is much more important, so if you are able to help me please concentrate on question 1. It would also be great to have the possibilities I mentioned with the latest posts, but it will be possible to use the website without it.

Ok, maybe I should just read the whole thing. I still had “Catch Base free” in my mind, because I used and tested it for several days… If I read the “Theme Instructions” https://catchthemes.com/theme-instructions/catch-base-pro/ most of the things are included. Does that mean that both of my questions are allready answered and I can do exactly what I wrote in my initial post?

@gustavoson: Yes, you can find details for both in theme instructions. Yes, you can remove the slider link and hover effect too. For using images of you choices rather than demo, go to Dashboard=> Appearance=> Customize=> Featured Slider and select Featured Image Slider and add desired images.
For Featured Content, go to Dashboard=> Appearance=> Customize=> Featured Content and choose Featured Post Content and put in the desired post ids.
