I’m new to WordPress. I’ve been using another CMS for years, so excuse my ignorance

I downloaded and installed the Music Journal theme. One of the things I liked about it was the location of the social media buttons.

So now’s the problem. What do I need to add social media buttons (the plugin I have doesn’t seem to work with the theme), and how do I get them in the same location? To the left of the name, under the feature image

Also, where’s the player?

To Setup Social Icons like in the demo
Go to => Appearance => Customize => Menus => View All Location => Social Header Menu => Edit Menu => Add Items => Custom Links => Insert the link to your Social Media and Text and Publish.

To create a sticky playlist like in the demo
Edit page of page => Add a new block => Classic Block => Add Media button click on that Inside “Add Media” you will find Create Audio Playlist option, from there you can choose you audio to add in playlist.

Then,
Go to => Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Sticky Playlist => Select the Post/Page where you created the playlist and Publish.

Hello !!! I have a question regarding the use of Music Journal. I have read that it is a Child Theme from Photo Journal. I can update the parent theme (Photo Journal) without losing modifications that have been made to the web made from Music Journal. It is necessary to take some kind of precaution? Thank you in advance for the answer.

Yes, you can update the parent theme without losing customization made to Music Journal as it is a child theme.
