Hi! I have the solid construction pro theme installed, and when I am trying to change the site colours from yellow to orange it will not change the button background colours or the top header… these are still yellow. I have tried changing the theme colours but no luck. any ideas?

@rhiannacarter: You can change button background color from the customizer. Go to => Appearance => Customize => Colors => Button Background Color and Select you preferred color.
Please post in your site URL if the button colors are not changing.

@rhiannacarter: This issue has been fixed in the latest theme update. Please update the theme to the latest version and check if the button background color is working.

Hi – I am on Version: 1.1.1, there isn’t any updates available and I am still having the same problem 🙁

Can you please also let me know where I can edit the featured slider on the home page?

@rhiannacarter: The theme has been updated to 1.1.2. Sometimes you do not get notification of the theme update.

To update pro theme you’ll need to first download the theme from https://catchthemes.com/my-account/page. Then install Catch Web Tools plugin and activate Catch Updater Module. https://wordpress.org/plugins/catch-web-tools/

To edit featured slider on homepage
Go to => Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Featured Slider => Now you can edit the slider.

Thank you that fixed it 🙂 one more thing how can I change the widget area above the footer to be the same colour as the footer?

@rhiannacarter: Go to => Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS and add the following CSS Code.

#tertiary {
      background-color:#363636;
}
