    Hello,
I am using Kathmandu free version, and do edits on a child theme. I a static home page linked to an article that is much too long, but does have numerous headings.

I want to be able to show and initial excerpt from the full text under each heading, and use a “continue reading” to bring up the rest of the text under that heading. In case it’s not already clear, I want to adjust the visual appearance of the page so mostly only headings and their excerpts are visible.

    Is this possible?

    My website is compassionatehardball.com

    Thanks!

@jrdphd: It is not possible to do that with a page. If it was a post then it would have been possible. I suggest you to hire a customizer.
Also you seem to be using an older version of the theme. Please update the theme to its latest version.

    Kind Regards,
    Skandha

    Hi Skanda,
    Thanks for your response.
I am coming back to working actively on my website after a prolonged delay, and am having to remind myself of how to do even basic things.

Could you briefly describe the basics of how to do what I want by having the static home page as a post, assuming that’s what you meant when you said I could segment it if it were a post?

    Thanks!
    Joseph

Hi, could you help me understand why it is taking so long to get a response to my question? Thanks

@jrdphd: Hello there, Sorry for the delayed response. You can put the whole content to a new post. Then you can Go to => Customize => Homepage Settings => Select Your Latest Posts. Then you can display only this post on your homepage as an excerpt.

Let me know if this helps you out.
    Kind Regards,
    Skandha
