I am running the following versions of things:
WordPress Version: 5.1
Catch Base Pro Theme: 3.7.2
PHP Version: 7.0.33The menu stops working on the mobile version on the iPhone or whenever the screen is small enough to show the “hamburger” menu.
So does the “Return to Top” buttonHere’s what happens. Upon opening Safari and going to the website URL (https://www.everygoodgift.org), the top-line menu is available and functions, but after a couple of uses to go to other pages on the site, the “Return to Top” button disappears and the menu no longer works. Clicking on it no longer opens the full menu on the left. Instead it simple refreshes the current page.

You seem to be using an old version of the theme. Please update the theme to the latest theme version and let me know if the issue persists.Kind Regards.
SkandhaMarch 5, 2019 at 2:45 pm #167274JDCParticipantI have now upgraded the theme to Catch Base Pro Theme Version 4.0.2, but the problem persists. I am using a child theme of Catch Base Pro, Do I have to update that in some way first?

Can you please try deactivating all your plugins and check if this resolves the issue?Let me know if the issue persists!
Kind Regards,
SkandhaMarch 6, 2019 at 6:14 am #167354JDCParticipantThank you, Skandha. That did the trick. I found that one of the settings in one of my plugins that affected the loading of pages was causing it. I was able to turn off the setting and keep the plugin active.
This was the setting and a description of it.
Load Render-blocking JavaScript Files Asynchronously
Add async parameter to the JavaScript files loaded in the header section of your site so they don’t block your page rendering.
One final question. I had made a Child Theme for Catch Base Pro prior to upgrading to the latest version. Do I need to make any changes to it as a result of upgrading?

I hope I was able to resolve your issue. If it’s not too much trouble, I have a quick request: could you please leave an honest review?

Your review will help others know what to expect when they’re looking for the support I offer. Even a sentence or two would be hugely appreciated. Thanks, and if there’s anything else at all that I can do to help, don’t hesitate to let me know. Have a good day! 🙂Kind Regards,
