Do I have to resize all featured images exactly to 1140 x 450 in my posts to see them in full width in the slider? Everytime, when I put a picture in which doesn´t have the exact size I see the picture with white borders on the side.

    May blog is: http://www.lebenskonzepte.org

Thank you in advance for your help!

@himmelstuermer: Yes, you can just add 1140px width images for all the posts that you want to show in Featured Post Slider.

So it is necessary to make a 1140x450px version of every picture that it will be displayed properly? Now I did it, but it makes a lot of work. I cannot put in a picture in it´s normal 3×2 dimensions? Does the pro Theme support this feature?

@himmelstuermer: You can add any image size in Pro version if you are using Featured Image Slider. This is an independent image slider.

Hello, I’ve just bought the Catch everest pro theme and it is great, but I have some problem with featured image resizing.

It seems that it does not perform the resize automatically, so I have white borders on the side.

    What can I do?

@Roberto: Which slider you are using? If you are using Image Slider then you need to manually resize the image as per you need with width 1140px and height can be any as per your need. But if you use Page Slider or Post Slider or Category Slider, then it will take the featured image of size 1140px width and 450px height. But if you upload featured image size is less then this size then it will show you the your original image.

Note: If you have just changed your Theme then you need to regenerate image thumbnail for Posts published prior to activating this Theme. You can simply install Regenerate Thumbnails Plugin. Then Regenerate Thumbnails through “Tools => Regen. Thumbnails” in your WordPress Dashboard.
