I am working on fixing up the website http://www.mid-stateliteracycouncil.org/. At the top of their page they have a Donate button that re-directs to their donation page. I cannot figure out how to add that custom text while keeping the FaceBook/Twitter/Vimeo links that they want on the new website.

@Amy: Ok so you want to add donate and social icons in header right sidebar in Catch Responsive theme? Then go to “Appearance => Widgets” and then drag and drop “Catchresponsive Social Icons” widget to your Header Right Sidebar and for donation code, you can drag and drop “Catchresponsive Advertisement” widget to your Header Right Sidebar and add in content there.

Thank you, that worked perfect. Now I am running into an issue when I am trying to use an image instead of test for the website header. For now I am trying to use this image. I saw an example on this post. When I add that code and use the image. It does not appear. It is a temporary image until I get it re-colored to match the website. Does it need to be a specific size to work?

@Amy: Yes, you can add that image as logo. Just go to “Appearance => Customize => Site Title & Tagline”, and then click on “Change Image” and upload your image. Then you need to uncheck “Check to disable logo” and Save & Publish.

Sweet, I have one last question and I should be good to go. How do I align that the uploaded logo with the right header (where the search would be). As it is now, the information I put in the search area appears below the image I uploaded.

Sure, right now the website is being modified on evancoller.com. You’ll see when you go there that the logo image and the right side header are not aligned.

@Amy: It’s because you have uploaded large logo image. Just replace that logo image with smaller version and it will be fine.
