Hi,

Recent Posts is showing ALL category posts on the homepage rather than the one I’ve selected in the menu. Any ideas why?

Hi Ady,

You need to filter the homepage posts by going to Appearance=> Customize=> Theme Options=> Homepage/Frontpage Options and selecting required categories.

I’ve have already done that but it doesn’t appear to filter them. It shows all posts regardless of what I select.

Also the heading doesn’t change ie I’ve changed the text Recent Posts to Testimonials and it hasn’t altered on the homepage. Not sure why it’s not working. I noticed that there is an updated version of the theme available. I bought the theme via Creative Market. Am I able to update the theme or do I have to re-purchase? Thanks.

No need to buy it again. The update should be in your account page in Creative Marked. Just Update the theme. Let me know if it does not work after update too and we will further try to resolve it.

Hi Pratik,

I think I’ve found the issue. I’ve had a Static Homepage which has Blog posts at the top, then Services in the middle and then I want to display ONLY Testimonials in the Recent Blog section at the bottom. I switched it back to a Latest Post style homepage to see Blog Posts at the top and Testimonials at the bottom but no Services in the middle. Is there a way to filter the posts at the bottom of a Static Homepage or display Services on a Latest Posts homepage?

I have fixed the bugs on title not changing on Static Front Page and also the filter. Check it as I have uploaded the latest theme to your site. Let me know if this fixes your issue and does what you want.

The title change works brilliantly plus I get a testimonial as the first entry which is also great. I’m still getting blog posts underneath that though. Is there any way these could just be testimonials?
