Under customization in theme options for home page/front page options, the option to enable recent post on static page when checked or selected, is it possible for the posts that show in the Home page not to show again in the Archives/Blog posts page? Because it confuses the visitors to view the same posts again when they are redirected to the Archives/Blog posts page.
Please visit my site – cookinginaction.com – to see what I mean.
Thanks

July 15, 2020 at 1:53 am #252983SkandhaParticipant@nrgjdoria: Hello Nick,
An option will be added where you can select the category of posts you want to show up on static homepage. Then you will able to select the category of posts displayed in homepage as well as blog page. This will be added and an update will be released soon. I will let you know when the update is released.Kind Regards,
SkandhaJuly 15, 2020 at 12:18 pm #253051nrgjdoriaParticipantThanks. Btw, if you look at the website, should the “Recent Posts” heading only show in the Home page? Because the “Recent Posts” heading shows on all pages including the old posts. I guess this should be corrected too, right?

The update has been released. Please update the theme and let me know if the Blog page heading and Category option for Static Homepage posts is working fine.Kind Regards,
SkandhaJuly 17, 2020 at 2:22 pm #253293nrgjdoriaParticipantI updated Foodie World Pro theme, and I put a check mark on “Check to Enable Recent Posts on Static Page” but no post shows now in the Home page and I get error “Nothing Found” when I click the “More Posts” button which supposed to redirect to the Recipes Post. Btw, no more Archive title. I will try to create a “Recipes” page again to see if it will show all the blog posts.
Website is cookinginaction.com

July 17, 2020 at 2:34 pm #253295nrgjdoriaParticipantI recreated the Recipes page for Posts page and set it as the Blog page in Settings, but I get the same error “Nothing Found…” after I clicked on the “More Posts” button at the bottom of the Home page. And none of the “Recent Posts” show in the Home page too. The version I upgraded it to is Foodie World Pro version 2.3.3. Please help ASAP!
Thanks

July 17, 2020 at 2:58 pm #253297nrgjdoriaParticipantI was able to fix it by choosing “All Categories” and adding titles. But the issue now is, it shows “Recent Posts” even on the very old posts on page 19.
Nick
July 17, 2020 at 3:15 pm #253298nrgjdoriaParticipantStill, nothing shows of “Recent Posts” in the Home page eventhough I put a check mark on “Check to Enable Recent Posts on Static Page”. A good option to turn it off and on, and again, it looks professional if whatever posts that show in the Home page shouldn’t show again in the Blog posts page(s) unless the option “Check to Enable Recent Posts on Static Page” is unchecked.
Thank you…
Nick
July 17, 2020 at 3:18 pm #253299nrgjdoriaParticipantAnd is it possible to have the option to show selected “Header Media” for the “Recipes” blog post page to look nice instead of the gray background color?
Nick
July 21, 2020 at 5:55 pm #253684nrgjdoriaParticipantI was able to show header media for “Recipes” or blog posts. The remaining issue now are – 1. Recent Post title still shows on all pages instead of just on the very first page, and succeeding pages either supposedly be called Posts or Archives. Second, the option to show Recent Posts in the Home page is no longer an option of which, it is good if the initial design to be able to turn it off and on.
Currently, I removed title “Recent Posts” on the Blog theme options in order not to show all my posts pages as “Recent Posts”.
NickJuly 22, 2020 at 10:28 am #253780SkandhaParticipant@nrgjdoria: Hello Nick,
Are you still having any of the above issues? I checked your site and everything seems to be showing up fine.Kind Regards,
SkandhaJuly 22, 2020 at 1:53 pm #253801nrgjdoriaParticipantCheck again as I put back the “Recent Posts” in the Recent Posts Heading of which, page 19 shouldn’t show “Recent Posts” since the posts are old. Is it possible to just make the first page show the Recent Posts Heading and the succeeding pages or the rest will show the Blog Heading in the Homepage/Frontpage Options?
Again, not sure if you notice, the recent update v. 2.3.3 completely removes the option to show “Recent Posts in the static page” which is the Home page.

July 22, 2020 at 2:43 pm #253810nrgjdoriaParticipantNote sure if I am able to convey what I am trying to accomplish with my website – cookinginaction.com – in reference to the design perspective of the Foodie World Pro theme because I sounded like I keep repeating my message. But for the last time, I will.
For the Homepage/Frontpage Options of the Theme Options, would you agree that whatever is in the “Recent Posts Heading” title field – should only show in the Home page if the option to show “Recent Posts in the static page” is checked or enabled – and the very recent page of all the posts should show too in the home page? And would you also agree that whatever is in the “Blog Heading” title field – should show for the rest of the pages?
Btw, I tested a lot of WP themes, and Foodie World Theme is by far the best! (especially if this issue is corrected 🙂
Nick
July 23, 2020 at 7:13 pm #253915nrgjdoriaParticipantI was able to figure out to display posts in the home page, and I guess I will just have to remove the “Recent Posts” heading title so not to show on all the posts pages.
Nick
July 23, 2020 at 11:37 pm #253956SkandhaParticipant@nrgjdoria: Hello Nick,
It is not possible to show the Recent Post heading on the first page and blog page heading on the next pages. Are you having other issues with the Homepage/Frontpage options?
Kind Regards,
SkandhaJuly 24, 2020 at 3:11 pm #254024nrgjdoriaParticipantThat’s all. Btw, there’s a lot of blank spaces in the posts grid at the bottom of each grid/posts. Is it a fix grid or auto-adjust grid in reference to text summary? The big spaces at the bottom of each grid makes the spacing of the entire page unbalanced.
Thanks
Nick
July 26, 2020 at 7:13 am #254133SkandhaParticipant@nrgjdoria: Hello Nick,
Go to => Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS and add the following CSS Code..hentry { margin-bottom: 0; }
Let me know if this decreases the space you are referring to!
Kind Regards,
SkandhaJuly 28, 2020 at 5:01 pm #254351nrgjdoriaParticipantThanks for the fix. I will add it tonight when I get home.
Nick
July 30, 2020 at 12:15 pm #254499nrgjdoriaParticipantThe CSS code reduces the spaces in between grids, but not the bottom grids or the bottom grids still have like an inch blank space when viewed using a laptop either edge or chrome browser. Mobile phone view is fine. Please check…
Thanks

The space after the bottom grids cannot be altered as it comes inline from the JS file.Kind Regards,
