I’m looking for support with Audioman-Pro / Essential Content Type Plugin Pro

I have two challenges:

1. “Upcoming Event” with custom page
When using custom page types for “upcoming event”, the date shown is the date of publication and not the event date.
Also, the ticket button disappears. Is this a bug?

Ideally I would like to create an event through the essential content type plugin once only for it to be displayed on the homepage as well the dedicated events sub-page.
Is there a guide on how to achieve this?

2. Events-Page
I’m using the Event-Block on the events sub-page. The events are not appearing sorted by event date although I’m using the setting. Also, the dates and event title automatically link to the post. How can I alter this in order to link to an external event or ticket page?

@shokky: Hello Shokky,
The order of the event posts are according to the published date. To change the order
Go to => Dashboard => Events => Edit the date of he Event post to alter their order.

Unfortunately the proposed solution does not work. When setting the publishing date to July 11 2021 (event date), the entry disappears and cannot be selected from the Theme-Options drop-down menu anymore and the event site does not recognize the entry either.

I’m also getting an error when selecting “style four.”
Error message: Error loading block: The response is not a valid JSON response.

These are my steps. I hope it helps you to re-create the problem and guide me to a solution:

1. Create a new event post through the Dashboard -> ECT Events
2. Set event name as title
3. Add button with link to external ticket / event page
4. Add details for event type, location, text, event date
5. Schedule post to date of event
6. I go to the website -> customize -> theme options – > events -> custom content type -> events 1
After completing these steps the post cannot be selected.
When publishing the post straight after creating it, the publishing date is displayed on the front page.
