On the site I have inherited I see the following layout on the homepage:

Featured Slider
Hero
Featured Content
Portfolio
Contact
Testimonials

On the featured slider or between the slider and Hero content I want to add some buttons/declaraions such as a badge for
Avvo, Yelp top 10, Google 5 star rated, and more type of icons that will help build confidence.

How can I can a section between Featured Slider and Hero blocks/sections?

Also I have a static home page defined but none of the content actually appears on the site. I did a view source and looked for it. No where to be found.

I know we are on an old version of the theme too – 1.x.

To add some buttons/declaraions such as a badge forAvvo, Yelp top 10, Google 5 star rated, and more type of icons you can use the Logo Slider Section

Go to => Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Logo Slider => Logo Slider Type => Select Custom and Upload Icons and Logos.

None of the content actually appears on the site
Go to => Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Homepage / Frontpage Options => Uncheck the option Check to disable Homepage/Frontpage Content

Logo Slider is already in use and I don’t see Custom option. Perhaps because I am on an old 1.x version?

See the Credentials block on the homepage. And it’s not at the top as I would want it.

If I enable the Display Homepage content options where would that content appear? Between these theme blocks from Theme Options?

How is the order of these theme blocks determined? Can I reorder and move the logo slider up?

@twgerber: Hello there,
To setup the social icons what you can do is.
Go to => Appearance => Widgets => Before Content => Add Widget => CT: Social Icons
Then Go to => Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Social Links => Add your social links.

To reorder the section in the way you want you will need to create a child theme and a bit of customization. Let me know if you are familiar with child theme customization otherwise I suggest you to hire a customizer.

Then they appear at the end of the page after all the theme’s custom blocks.

I want it to appear after the custom slider block and before the hero block
