Can anyone tell me how to create a menu item that is not a page? I just want to establish a parent item to organize child pages. I don’t want the parent item to exist as a page itself.

It seems the only options are to specify existing pages, categories, or a link.

Ah! Sakin! “Static parents” – that’s what I was looking for. (Actually I probably didn’t need to go much further than some of my son’s classmates’ parents – ouch).

The trick (deleting the URL after adding) Worked great – thanks!
