We have a child site on a multi-site config running Catch Everest Pro (tcog.info). She has lost her menu. In Menu settings, the pages are no longer listed under the menu name. if you create a new menu or add pages to existing menu name, they do not save. Also, her blog posts no longer show the tags at the bottom. The Tags and Categories menu are visible with all the categories showing number of posts connected to them as well as the Tags. However, when you click on a Tag or Category, you receive “Nothing Found.” The Search box does find posts.
We have other Catch Theme sites on the network including others using Catch Everest Pro (njfog.org) and the menu works fine as well as posts. We went through all the plugins to check for conflicts; updated the theme, updated to latest version of WP. Finally, the Appearance > Customize page shows menu items on the left, but the web image never loads on the right; it just continuously spins. Are these connected and how to we fix this, primarily the menu issue? Thanks, Dan

From when is the issue occuring. Have you made any changes that is causing the issue? Does the problem occurs after changing to core themes too?
Let us know, we’ll be able to help you further.Regards,

Problem continued with switching out multiple themes including other Catch Themes and WP 2015, 2016 themes. We temorarily changed “plugins” folder name in WP-Content and problem continued.

“One thing I remembered this morning was that a few days ago, when I was looking at the Dashboard, there was button that said something like “New: Edit in WordPress”. I thought I WAS editing in WordPress. I don’t usually click on any of the many buttons asking me to update anything or use any plug in because I’m such a novice, but I thought that I check out what it looked like to edit in the new WordPress version. I clicked, and nothing looked different. So I went on about my business.
I’m not exactly sure when that was. It was sometime last week. I honestly didn’t notice the menus missing until yesterday, which is when I also noticed the categories and tags missing from all the blog posts.
I wish I could remember exactly what that “Edit in WordPress” button said. I certainly didn’t think it would change the website. Does that offer any clue? Maybe it’s unrelated, but I thought it might help to bring it up.”
