I have discovered on our site that the link button for linking images page or anything else is not functioning.

Most of the elements that were basic to wordpress in other themes don’t work. I am using 3.9.1 wordpress and have the pro version of catch everest theme.

I am also using WPML in Spanish.

@mergelane: Sorry David, I don’t understand what are you trying to say it. Can you send me your site URL and explain the issue in reference to your site. So, that I can check in the issue.

The link buttons, the Image buttons, and the permalink buttons to edit the name of the url for the name of a page or post doesn’t function.

@mergelane: Still don’t get it maybe you can share your screenshot showing what you mean. For edit, you need to login in and use the header bar where there will be edit.

I have just updated to WP edit to get the tinymce functions working but nothing is helping. Can’t create links with the linking feature of the tool bar, can’t edit or modify images, etc

I tried sending a screen shot by dropping and dragging it to the forum site but it only showed the link to my desktop.

Is there a simple way to place an image in the forum?

@mergelane: Ok I will email you directly so that we can better communicate. You can upload the screenshot image in your site or any photosharing site and paste the url here.

@mergelane: Our theme doesn’t control editor. So, for these type of issue, try posting in WordPres.org support forum. Also try disabling plugin one by one and test it. This is most probably one of your plugin conflicting with WordPress.
