Hello,
I’m hoping to get a couple of issues resolved that I cannot figure out using the Helena theme.

Please see the attached screen shot. I have a large, black area that I cannot seem to delete below my featured image toward the top of the page. The menu on the right side of the page is up very high, and I need to lower it-it looks so out of place!

How do I do this? I’ve been trying for hours, and I am getting nowhere.

You will have to tell me how to insert the CSS code-I’m from the old school (HTML)and CSS is a little scary to me! 🙂

@annier: Go to => Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS and add the following CSS Code.

#hero-section .wrapper {
	display:none;
}
.widget-wrap {
	padding-top:80px;
}
