Hey Guys,

Hope your well, Im wondering is it possible to put all / most of the content you see below the main image on the Home page of the theme demo of Rock Star?

Im Hoping to make a simple 1 page scrolling website with the following sections “Bio”, Videos, Music and Contact. If so how would I start adding the content below the Large home page image?

Lastly, Is it possible to have an email list Sign up form right in the middle of the Main Image on the Home Page?

Any help would be greatly appreciated 🙂

@maxzaska: The demo is of Fotografie Pro theme.So, if you want to customize your site like in the demo of the theme then you should upgrade to pro version of the theme. You can check out the additional-features =available in pro version of the theme as compared to the free theme.

Yes, you can have a 1 page scrolling website with the following sections “Bio”, Videos, Music and Contact.

To have a signup form in the middle of the main image on the Home page you will need to customize your site.
If you have the idea then you can customize it yourself otherwise i suggest you to hire a customizer.

is it possible at all to have a scrolling 1 page website with the free version? If so how would I go about adding sections under neath the home page image? Only thing I could seem to add myself was a post and that’s not really what im after,

@maxzaska: Yes, it is possible but you will have to do with the limited features available in the free theme. Let me know what do you want to add beneath the homepage image and I will suggest you how you can achieve that.

;Go to => Appearance => Widgets =&gt Add widgets Before Content or After Content

For Bio, Music and Contact you can use Text Widget, for Videos you can use CT: Video Embeds or Video Widget.
You can check out the widgets available and use it according to your requirement.

Sorry to keep bothering you but would you have any custom HTML to help me get my mailchimp sign up form right in the middle of the home page image?

Also is it possible to have some text above the mail chimp form to say something like “sign up below to get a free download of my latest EP”?

Thanks so much for all your help so far, really appreciate it! Yes that worked great to get rid of the error message,

I have a few last questions if thats okay and then hopefully I should be out of your hair for the forseeable future 🙂

1 ) Id like to get my Mail Chimp sign right in the centre of my Header image so its actually overlayed on top of it, is this possible? The code you gave me worked great for centering it by the way!

2 ) Id like to have my social Icons at the Top right corner of my header image(where the home navigation button is now), is this possible?

3 ) this leads me to my next question, Can I remove this home menu button from my page?

4 ) Is it possible to change the title font at all? dont mind the normal txt font but just the squigley title font eg. where it says “Sign up below to get a free download of my new EP”

5 ) and lastly, is it possible to embed a music player like spotify or soundcloud or is the audio / txt widget the only way?

This is all my questions and I promise to leave you alone after this 🙂

For 1,2 since there is no option available in the theme you will have to get you site customized. I suggest you to hire a customizer.

3. To remove home menu button
Go to => Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS and add the following CSS Code.

#site-header-menu{
	display:none;
}

4. To change title font
Go to => Appearance => Customize => Additional CSS and add the following CSS Code.

#mc4wp_form_widget-3 .widget-title {
      font-family:ravie;
}

Change the font according to your choice.

5. For this you will need to find a suitable plugin from the wordpress plugin repository.

So sorry if there was any confusion but I was actually looking to change the title font on all the widget headers,

Is there one bit of code that does all or do you have to do each widget sepearately?
