Hi,

On our website http://sinfore.hagmeijer.nl/blog/ I use the featured content.
I use the possibility of total content with a read more link. This is because I want to use a bold head in the text.
What I want is a picture in the featured content with te same behavior as the picture in the featured content excerpt possibility. That is: one picture on the frontpage in the featured content , that occurs in the text of the linked page.
I tried to use the featured image in the page, but that does not show the desired result.

Is there a solution for this problem.

In the featured content you can choose three options: except, full content and code content.
Problem is that if I choose excerpt, there is no possibility to make a part of the content bold to looks like a header.
If I choose full content I can make a header, but then the image on the frontpage in featured content occurs twice in the page.There is a kind of solution to choose in the page fore a featured image, but that is an ugly solution, because the image doesn’t cover the whole width in the page.
What I want is the possibility to make some text bold in featured content, while I use the possibility excerpt.
Can you please help me with that?

@toerfiets: Under Select Content Type : you can choose Custom and you can enter the desired title which will appear bold to look like a header.
Under Display Content : You can choose “Show Excerpt”.
Let me know if this helps you out.

Hi Tikaram,
No that doesn’t help Menu out.
The title in this solution is the title for the total featured content.
What I want is a title for all the three excerpts.
Now that looks impossible, because it is not possible to make the first words of an excerpt bold
I cannot do this in the featured content nor in html.

I cannot add a image to this post. So I try to explain in words what I want to see:

@toerfiets: It look like you have disabled the excerpt option. Please enable it so that I can provide you the css to make the excerpt bold.

I looked at it and the excerpt option isn’t disabled.
I enabled type of content = page
featured columns = 3
show excerpt.

If this is not correct, can you tell me in that case how to enable excerpt?

But: what we want to see is not the whole excerpt in bold: only a header.
And the header I can make bold is the header for the whole featured content. That is a header like: latest news or so. But that header is not necessary.

@toerfiets: You will need to have enough content for the excerpt to appear. The default number of words for excerpt to appear is 45 words.

I have enigheid Words for an excerpt. The only questionnaires is to make Some of the words bold to create kind of header.

In the second excerpt the words: Casus wonen voor ouderen
In the third excerpt the words: Casus Duurzaamheid en klimaat
