I bought Audioman Pro.

I’ve been all over this forum. Been through your FAQ, watched about a dozen videos. Installed your demo content.

On the home page of audioman pro the very first section is called

latest release with 5 sample audio thumbnails that link to nowhere. and there is nothing in the backend called latest release.

How am i supposed to either

A) remove something that isn’t called what its titled
B)replace demo content with my own if you label it latest release but call it something else

what am I supposed to do?
How patient am I suppposed to be. I paid you for something that was supposed to be easy to use.

Upload photos, music and type on a blog.

How am I supposed to upload photos when i have no idea where they are supposed to be put because you used 2 labels for the same field.

How am I supposed to edit the

“Latest Release” widget area when I have no idea what it is called in the backend??

if i wanted a riddle I wouldn’t have paid $60 for a template. I would have just used a free one and spent a month trying to figure it out.

why did I pay for this??

I have nothing to do with this company except I buy from them. I get pissed at a lot of companies cuz they do crap work. I’m not going to try and talk you down from your position but I just wanted to let you know that I’m on your side and feel like you do a lot. But, there is something I found out about this company. Once again, I’m on your side as a customer but I find that this company will do everything it can to help you if you tell them what you need. I’m never going to stop doing business with them and they probably aren’t happy about that cuz I’ll keep asking for help. I found that to be worth my money. I just wanted to give you another look at them. I hope I didn’t piss you off more. Stay safe.

Sorry for the inconvenience.

The Latest Release titled section in the demo is the Portfolio Section. To edit the title and replace the demo content
Go to => Appearance => Customize => Theme Options => Portfolio => Select the type as post, page, categories, custom or custom post type and then select the posts and finally Publish.

Its really unfortunate that I have to find someone attached to this company to walk me through how to replace the demo content with my own. That should raise all kinds of red flags that this template your approach isn’t as user friendly as you’d like.

Thanks for telling me in your own words that

A)I need to use the wordpress customizer
B)For that section and those options I need to go create Post and/or page before hand so that I can choose it to replace the demo content.

Which now i am trying to replace teh single blog post “paralyzed” with my own contnet. I’ve changed the blog post title “paralyzed” to the title I want. I’ve swapped out the featured image too the image i need it to be. I’ve changed the text to the text I want it to be.

But everytime I upload the mp4 file of a single 3 minute long song its nowhere to be found in the media library.

How am I supposed to create a music album within a blog post so that I can attach a blog post to this portfolio widget so that users can scroll to it and play my music? Is there theme documentation or tutorials on how to do this stuff so I don’t have to come knock on your door every task because someone didn’t even think about a user experience.

I’ve tried adding the block music and uploading my song. that never gives me the option to create an album of lets say 8 songs. never gives me the option to download a song. Never gives me an option to download for a price. Never gives me the option to set the price. Never gives me the option on how I want visitors to pay?

I don’t know where your from, but where I’m from demo content is content that

A)shows you the possibilities
B)shows you the steps on how to create those possibilities

Your website says I can upload music, album artwork and charge for downloads and create whole albums or songs. I didn’t want to guess as to how to do that at every step of the process so I paid for the pro version without hesitation. I’m now regretting that I didn’t spend a month sending you presale questions before purchase! Because now I have to send you a month worth of

“Please help me” questions to justify my purchase.

Who quality controls this before being released to the public. All you have to do is go to any “new blogger” facebook group and ask one of the new website owners to test drive your pro theme, and watch them struggle. Fix the points they struggle with, and create the tutorial that provides the solution to these struggles and then you might be ready to deliver to the public.

Because right now there is no reason other than the fact you assumed I knew what you knew to duplicate the demo content.

How do I create an album with artwork and multiple songs and make it option to listen to each song as well as download each song or individual song and pay for that download?? This is a musician’s template right?

Ok this says how to create a playlist using the theme customize, but doesn’t that theme customize ask me to choose a blog post, blog page or blog category???????/

How do I create a playlist within the blog post/page/category to select it in the customize page??

How to add Playlist?
Audioman supports Page as Playlist. Follow the following steps to add Playlist to your theme:
Go to “Customize=> Theme Options =>Playlist”
Under Page choose the page you want to display as playlist
To add playlist, open the edit page of post,page or category you have selected, on the left hand side you will find “Add Media” button click on that Inside “Add Media” you will find Create Audio Playlist option, from there you can choose you audio to add in playlist
Finally, “Save & Publish”

Sorry for the late reply.

After uploading the mp4 file
Did you Go to => Media => All Media Files => Try selecting Audio. This should display all the uploaded audio files.

The Latest Release section in the demo is just made using custom type. You can use post or pages for that.

Create a post with the album name then you can create a playlist inside the post and upload the album cover as the Featured Image.
To add a playlist
Edit a post/page => Add New Block => Formatting => Classic Block => Add Media =>Create Audio Playlist => Select your audio files and Click on Create a New Playlist and Publish.

Please let me know which section of the demo would you like to replicate on your site so that I can help you accordingly.
Yes, this is a musician’s template but all the features that you are looking for may not be available within the theme option so you may have to use some other plugins as well.

And I am trying to duplicate the albums demo, playlist demo & calendar demo.

I am also trying to figure out how to display my songs with a download purchase feature. I pages that are listed as shop, cart & checkout but I don’t see where/how I am supposed to populate these things.
